Long term psychotherapy Long-term dynamic therapy is a much more intense process than short-term psychotherapy. It consists of exploring ways of being in the world that usually exist outside the conscious awareness of daily living. During our sessions we will uncover and explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, as well as how you relate to others. You will develop a better understanding of who you are and why you respond to situation the way that you do. This level discovery could increase your emotional awareness and often strengthens one’s sense of confidence, self-acceptance and personal responsibility. As a result, you will become aware of what your automatic responses are and develop a keen understanding of how you choose to respond to your surroundings. This process is more time consuming but often leads to more flexibility and a greater capacity for intimacy. The results are usually solid and long-standing. I’m a specialist in long-term therapy. |
